Niagara Falls 1983

I was in a production of Piaf which started at the Redgrave Theatre, Farnham, Surrey, went on a national UK tour and then transferred to the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto in January. It was my first trip across the Atlantic and I thoroughly enjoyed the city and surroundings.

It was a cold winter and I was very taken by the almost frozen Niagara Falls. That northern winter light was like nothing I had ever experience. It seemed permanently diffused and produce an almost shadowless light.
